Hausfeld LLP is accepting applications for an associate with three to six years of litigation and/or clerkship experience to join the firm’s San Francisco, Washington DC, or New York office.
Hausfeld ranks among the world’s leading plaintiff-side litigation law firms, renowned for its ability to prosecute and resolve complex disputes on behalf of businesses and individuals in the areas of antitrust/competition, commercial & financial disputes, consumer protection, data breach, environmental, and human rights, often with an international dimension. With more than 100 lawyers in the U.S. and Europe, the firm’s expertise is unrivaled. Our diverse team of attorneys has successfully litigated some of the nation’s most complex cases and negotiated some of the largest settlements ever reached.
Associates at Hausfeld take a substantial role in investigating and analyzing potential claims, drafting legal memos, complaints, and briefs, managing all phases of discovery (including taking and defending depositions), preparing for and attending trials, and participating in settlement discussions for complex litigation cases, among other responsibilities. Applicants should be enthusiastic about the firm’s mission-driven work and the opportunity to dive into complex problem-solving challenges, while gaining experience in every aspect of litigation. Applicants must be licensed and in good standing or eligible for admission in the District of Columbia, California, or New York.
