Hausfeld achieved a record high with 13 lawyers recognised as part of the Pro Bono Recognition List 2026 which celebrates the commitment and time of at least 25 hours per year given to provide free legal advice and representation in England & Wales.

This recognition is testament to the social justice work we do where we work closely with charities and NGOs to improve access to justice for individuals and businesses. With solicitors' and barristers' individual pro-bono contributions often unrecognised the initiative was launched under the patronage of The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill. The recognition list is published annually and is supported by the Law Society, the Bar Council and leading pro bono organisations,

Congratulations to Jonathan Amior, Chrysanthi Bampali, Myrto Damaskou, Daniela Del Rio, Jake Henderson, Charles Laporte-Bisquit, Demica Kaur-Nettleford, Cara Nicholson, Chantal Ottow, Saana Saveljeff, Abigail Thrasher, Colum Tremayne and Julia Vincent for their deserved inclusion in the list.

In addition, the team participates in three impactful pro bono volunteering initiatives to make a meaningful difference. Through the Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre (QMLAC), volunteers mentor Queen Mary students in providing free legal advice to the public. At the Royal Courts of Justice (RCJ) Advice Centre, volunteers deliver procedural guidance to individuals navigating civil court cases. Finally, the LawWorks Unpaid Wages Project addresses wage theft by supporting vulnerable individuals in employment disputes, including tribunal representation and settlement negotiations.

In January 2026, our Pro Bono Committee also launched a new initiative in partnership with the Soup Kitchen at 55 Whitfield Street, open to all Hausfeld employees. Each month two volunteers help prepare and serve food to support the homeless, elderly, isolated and vulnerable people.

Pro-bono lies at the core of what we do and aligns with our commitment to giving back to the communities in which we live so we are extremely thankful to be part of it.
