TL4 - The fifth Annual UK Class Actions Forum
From Tuesday 14th to Wednesday 15th of October, Thoughts Leaders 4 Disputes will bring together experienced practitioners to navigate the evolving UK collective redress landscape, with Hausfeld Partners Lesley Hannah and Belinda Hollway joining expert panels.
Lesley will speak on the panel "Addressing the Current Litigation Funding and Insurance Landscape in Class Action Cases". She will be joined by partners from Norton Rose Fulbright, Addleshaw Goddard and Stephenson Harwood to explore how Le Patourel did (or didn’t) affect the prospects for funding claims in the CAT, the expected developments concerning reviews of the PACCAR judgement in 2025 and addressing the ongoing settlement conversation following Merricks.
Belinda will speak on the panel “Examining Recent Collective Action Settlements”, and will be joined by Wessen Jazrawi from Mishcon de Reya, Paul Stuart from Cleary Gottlieb, Clare Ducksbury from Epiq and Jessica Steele from Freshfields. The session will explore how recent settlements have impacted interest in future class action claims, how valuation affects settlement prospects before and during litigation and managing public relations during the settlement process.

This in-person event will take place at Saddlers' Hall, London. Lesley will speak on the 14th October at 11.35am and Belinda will speak on the following day at 2.35pm.
