ICC annual arbitration & ADR conference 2025 - Dispute Resolution: The Economic Perspective

On 11 November, the ICC will host its annual Arbitration & ADR Conference, bringing together lawyers from top firms and thought leaders from across the field. This two-day event offers a unique opportunity for both domestic and international audiences to explore the latest developments in arbitration and ADR around the globe, through a mix of virtual and in-person plenary sessions and roundtables.

Hausfeld London’s Co-Head of Commercial Disputes, Ned Beale, will chair the panel discussion “Arbitral economics: Is third-party funding a game-changer or a Pandora’s Box?” He will be joined by Leilah Bruton (Three Crowns), Geoff Nicholas (Burford Capital), Audley Sheppard KC (Twenty Essex), and Omar Tahir (Kings Chambers).

The panel will feature perspectives from practitioners, funders and arbitrators, and will take a deep dive into costs and funding, including how arbitral institutions and the UK government, via the CJC review are tackling the issue.
