The Lawyers Awards 2026 - Hausfeld named Team of The Year: Litigation

The award recognises Hausfeld’s work on Kent v Apple, the landmark collective action brought by Dr Rachael Kent on behalf of millions of UK iPhone and iPad users, seeking approximately £1.5 billion in damages.

In October 2025, the Competition Appeal Tribunal unanimously found that Apple has abused its dominant position by unlawfully excluding rivals and charging unlawfully high fees on purchases of apps, app subscriptions and in-app purchases made by UK iPhone and iPad users.

As the first case brought under the UK's collective proceedings regime to reach a successful conclusion at trial, the judgment represents a significant milestone for collective actions and competition litigation in the UK.

In addition, Hausfeld was also shortlisted for 'Dispute Boutique of the Year', which recognises firms for their outstanding work over the past year, highlighting excellence, innovation and impact across the legal sector.

These recognitions highlight our focus on remaining the undisputed leader of group litigation; on continuing to bring groundbreaking competition litigation and on distinguishing ourselves from the traditional plaintiff firms by continuing to grow our commercial disputes work in addition to referral work from other law firms when they have conflicts, as well as our international arbitration work.

Congratulations to the team and to all those recognised at this year's awards!
