Trends in Global Antitrust Enforcement and Litigation

In recent years, a distinct shift has been seen with regards to investigations by global competition regulators, as well as an increase in the number of antitrust related litigations. On 22nd June, Epiq Global hosted a one-hour webinar comprising expert speakers from both side of the Atlantic to discuss.

London Partner and competition disputes specialist, Tom Bolster, joined the panel alongside Douglas Jasinski of White & Case, Mark Katz of Davies Ward and Bishu Solomon of Epiq – moderator. They debated:

  • The increased scrutiny of cross-border merger activity, how these developments have affected legal strategy, and new tools employed by regulators to conduct these investigations.
  • Heightened cooperation among regulators in the investigation of cartels.
  • Emerging patterns in antitrust litigation and, specifically, how these matters relate to government investigations.
