IBA 2023 Paris – Looking to the future

At the Annual IBA conference in Paris, Hausfeld Partner, Lucy Pert participated in three expert discussions on 30 and 31 October.

On 30 October, Lucy joined ‘looking at the future: impact, value, and influence of UK Law’ a discussion chaired by Jonathan Wood, Chair of International Arbitration. The event explored how UK law and dispute resolution services maintain and enhance their position in a changing global legal landscape. This event took place from 10 am to 11.30am at The British Embassy, 35 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris, France.

On 31 October, Lucy led the table discussion ‘global women litigators breakfast: does AI put women's lives at risk?’ from 8 am to 9.15 am at the Neuilly 1, Palais de Congres de Paris.

Finally, on 31 October, Lucy joined an expert panel to discuss ESG Litigation, ‘trends and strategies in both civil and common law court’. The panel discussed the increasing pressure on businesses to take steps to ascertain, manage and account for the impact of their actions on ESG and human rights. Lucy will speak on 31 October from 10.30 am – 11.45 am at International Chamber of the Paris Commercial Court, 1 quai de la Course 75004 Paris.
