Hausfeld strengthens its Amsterdam office with senior lateral hire

Amsterdam, 9 March 2026 - Global disputes-only law firm, Hausfeld, is pleased to announce that Nima Lorjé has joined its Amsterdam office as Partner, further reinforcing the firm’s market-leading competition litigation practice. Nima was an active member of the competition and litigation departments of Freshfields, NautaDutilh and Stibbe.

Nima is a seasoned expert in competition damages litigation and public competition law, with a particular focus on antitrust litigation cases before the Dutch civil courts and EU Court of Justice. He has a strong track record of acting for major corporate clients in complex, high-value disputes arising from anticompetitive conduct and his arrival marks a significant strategic addition to the firm.

This closely follows the arrival of Bart Milar, Associate - previously in-house at Wageningen University & Research and Attorney at AD Advocaten who brings experience in commercial and competition litigation, mass claims and collective actions. 

Some of the biggest cases handled by Hausfeld Advocaten relate to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store collectives and the Dutch Trucks litigation. With added senior firepower on the ground, Hausfeld can pool resources to champion the rights of its clients in the major EU jurisdictions.

About Nima Lorjé

Nima specialises in competition law and antitrust litigation. With over 18 years' ​experience in high-stakes (multijurisdictional) competition damages cases, Nima has litigated cases for a number of (multinational) clients – notably, TKE, H&R, Shell, Total, Exxon, ABB, MAN, Viatris, and Vifor – regarding several competition law infringements in a wide range of industries. Previously, Bart worked at various litigation firms in Amsterdam where he dealt with a wide range of civil law matters including liability proceedings and contractual disputes.
