GCR Live: Competition litigation 2026
On October 8 2026, Global Competition Review will host its annual GCR Live: Competition Litigation conference, jointly chaired by Hausfeld London Managing Partner, Nicola Boyle and Emma Probyn of Freshfields. Additionally, Hausfeld’s Senior Partner, Anthony Maton, will be taking part in a live debate on the UK's collective proceedings regime.
The conference will take a deep dive into recent developments in UK competition litigation, providing a unique opportunity to connect with and learn from like-minded individuals through various panel formats and purpose-built networking sessions.
Anthony Maton will take part in a live debate alongside Kenny Henderson from CMS, Chris Hutton from Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and Alex Neil from Consumer Voice on the motion 'The UK's collective proceedings regime has become the most Claimant-friendly in the world?'.
In Oxford Union style, we will hear teams of debaters argue in favour of, or against, a motion. The facilitator will act as a judge voicing their opinions on what has been heard. The audience will have the deciding vote for or against, via a live poll.
