Exploring the Post Office case and access to justice
On 12 June, Lucy Pert will chair an expert panel on ‘exploring the Post Office case and access to justice’.
She will be joined by Patrick Green KC from Henderson Chambers; Richard Blann from Lloyds Banking; Rob Rothkopf from Balance Legal Capital; Phillip Leibfried from Burford Capital and Sarah Abram KC from Brick Court. Having secured victory for 555 sub-postmasters in the landmark Post Office group litigation, Patrick will have a unique perspective to add .
The panel will discuss, the rise of group actions and the role of litigation funding in the access to justice and the part pro bono can play in bringing cases.
