BIICL appoints Ingrid Gubbay as Visiting Research Fellow
The British Institute of International and Comparative Law has appointed Ingrid Gubbay as a Visiting Research Fellow for their expert group on Climate and Environment.
The appointment is an acknowledgment of Ingrid's substantive contribution on climate change litigation.
In this new capacity, Ingrid will be able to help develop BIICL projects and her contributions as a lawyer with considerable experience in the development of climate litigation at BIICL.
The appointment follows on from the recent recognition by the Financial Times 2021 Innovative Lawyers Awards which recognised Ingrid as ‘one of only five trailblazing sustainability leaders’ and shortlisted her for the 'Sustainable Lawyer' award because of her substantive work on climate change litigation and for championing the role of lawyers in tackling global warming.
