Legal 500 UK 2022 ranks Hausfeld in seven practice areas
In its 2022 rankings for the UK Guide, Legal 500 recognises Hausfeld in 7 different practice areas, including 3 new entries: Competition Litigation, Banking Litigation, Commercial Litigation - Premium, International Arbitration, Civil Liberties & Human Rights, Environment and Product Liability. Our lawyers received a total of 34 recommendations.
Hausfeld remains 'the leading claimant firm for competition litigation' revealing a Tier 1 ranking for the 9th consecutive year ‘with it having been at the forefront of innovation in the market for many years’. The market describes the team ‘at the top of their game, involved in some of the biggest and most influential cases in the UK in this area’.
The growth of our commercial litigation practice ‘in a big way’ was recognised with a climb in the rankings and the team is acknowledged as ‘nimble and effective litigators with great expertise’ and being ‘highly driven to meet client aims’.
For Banking Litigation, the guide highlighted that: “...The firm has a similar ethos to some of the smaller litigation boutiques, but within the fully functioning infrastructure and resourcing of a larger firm, which means that they are able to easily keep pace with their Big Law opponents in substantial cases." The team is described as ‘…quite superb in this space’. Our ‘international reputation for representing claimants in civil liberties and human rights claims across the globe - and in particular in cases which relate to the environment' did not go unnoticed, highlighting our ‘large team of litigators with a tremendous depth of experience and expertise in this field’.
This year’s new rankings comprise Environment – which is testament to the ongoing work that the ‘experienced’ and ‘knowledgeable’ team are pushing in the climate change sphere, International Arbitration where we are praised for our ‘bold approach to litigation and arbitration’ and Product Liability.
Many congratulations to the team and special thank you to all our clients and referees for their ongoing support.
