The Lear Competition Festival 2025
During its three-day annual event, commencing on 23 September, the Lear Competition Festival brings together international competition experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the antitrust field, which gives the opportunity to deepen knowledge and build trusted networks.
The programme is packed with roundtables, plenary sessions and networking opportunities on a wide range of antitrust topics. In addition, the Young Talent Competition Award will be presented.
We are delighted to manage one of the break-out sessions on Wednesday 24th September when Hausfeld London's Head of Competition Scott Campbell will chair a panel made up of Roberto Alimonti from Oxera Consulting, Giorgio Afferni from Delex and Giulia Trojano and Ginevra Bicciolo, both from Hausfeld.
The panel will discuss the ‘Quantification of damages in competition litigation: UK/EU comparative perspectives & strategies'. Their session at 3.15 pm that day will cover:
-
Key recent trends in the approach of UK courts vs courts in the EU (with a focus on Italy/Spain/Germany/France) to the quantification of damages in competition litigation.
-
Practical learnings from recent judgments in relation to, in particular, the ‘broad axe’ principle, pass-on and expert methodologies.
Practical information
The event will take place between 23 and 25 September 2025 at Largo Ascianghi 5 in Rome, Italy.
