OVERVIEW

Paralegal since 1999, Krishna has experience supporting Litigation, Antitrust and Civil & Human Rights practice groups with legal and administrative tasks, including cite checking legal briefs, discovery, court e-filings, legal research, calendaring, preparing deposition & trial documents, and maintaining databases. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Krishna worked at Dechert LLP as Senior Litigation Paralegal/Case Manager in New York City.

Krishna represents clients across a broad range of industries, including individual and institutional investors, consumers, air cargo industries and corporations and other businesses alleging antitrust violations in the financial and pharmaceutical markets.

- In re NFL’s Sunday Ticket Antitrust Litigation – Krishna was part of a trial team representing residential and commercial subscriber plaintiffs alleging that the National Football League (“NFL”) and its teams violated the antitrust laws through media-rights agreements that suppressed the output of, and raised the price for, out-of-market game telecasts. At the conclusion of a four-week trial, the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiffs and awarded $4.7 billion in damages.
- In re Foreign Exchange Benchmark Rates Antitrust Litigation – A high-stake lawsuit alleging a global conspiracy by some of the world’s largest financial institutions to fix and manipulate foreign exchange rates. Assisted in negotiating and drafting settlements reaching over $2.3 billion in total on behalf of investors.
- In re Contact Lens Antitrust Litigation – Represent classes of consumers who purchased certain disposable contact lenses. The classes allege that the four leading contact lens manufacturers conspired among themselves and others to adopt, implement, and enforce resale price maintenance policies, which they called “Unilateral Pricing Policies”, on these contact lenses.
- In re Air Cargo Antitrust Litigation – Represented freight forwarders and other direct purchasers of air cargo shipping services against a worldwide price-fixing cartel, in which the clients and the class recovered over $1 billion in settlements.
- In re Farm-Raised Salmon and Salmon Products Litigation – Litigation alleging a price-fixing conspiracy between the leading producers of farm-raised Atlantic Salmon.
- In re Union Carbide Corp. Gas Plant Disaster - residents of Bhopal, India who were exposed to toxic wastes. These wastes contaminated the soil and drinking water surrounding the infamous Union Carbide Plant, which was the site of the 1984 gas leak that killed and injured thousands of residents.
