The Law Society Competition Section: 2nd annual antitrust summer conference

This unique event is branded as 'the only one-day competition law conference designed entirely by competition law specialists for competition law specialists'.

Preceded by pre-conference sessions and welcome drinks during the early evening of 21st June, the main conference on 22nd June is structured around a series of engaging panel sessions, each focusing on a specific area of enforcement and chaired by a recognised expert.

Immediately after lunch, Global Co-Chair, Anthony Maton, will join a workshop session on mass claims in the CAT. Moderated by Francesca Richmond, Partner, Baker & McKenzie and panel experts Dr Liza Lovdahl Gormsen, Senior Advisor, FCA; Kate Vernon, Partner, Quinn Emanuel and Lochy Macpherson, Commercial Director, Finlegal, he will discuss the use of collective proceedings in the CAT to bring abuse and consumer protection cases as well as developments and trends relating to CPOs and innovative actions.
