OVERVIEW

Percy is a Law Fellow in Hausfeld’s Washington, DC office and is the recipient of Hausfeld’s Global Justice Fellowship. Percy’s career interests center on human rights, labor advocacy, and corporate accountability. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Percy was a Legal Intern at the Corporate Accountability Lab (CAL) in Chicago. While engaged at CAL, Percy worked closely with attorneys on issues related to forced labor and human rights abuses and assisted the organization with report writing, research, and legal advocacy regarding US-based and international matters in supply chains. Additionally, Percy was a Research Assistant at the Workers' Rights Institute (WRI) in Washington, DC, where he developed and presented his research on Amazon’s labor practices, organized human rights and labor events, and cultivated networks of activists, legal practitioners, and academics in the labor space. While at WRI, Percy researched and developed strategies to combat hiring discrimination and considered how algorithmic and A.I. employment tools contribute to workplace bias. Percy’s experience reflects a robust dedication to advancing human rights and the interests of workers through both practical legal work and strategic research.
