Climate change & litigation: where are we now and where are we going?

Join Katie Beran and Scott Gilmore on Earth Day, April 22, for a webinar hosted by Everlaw on where climate change litigation stands now and the potential challenges and successes ahead.

Climate change has become a significant issue, with an uptick in litigation targeting government, private sector, and corporate inaction related to climate deception. According to a 2021 report by the London School of Economics and Political Science, the number of climate change related cases have more than doubled since 2015 globally.

They will be joined by Stephanie Biehl from Sher Edling. The panellists will discuss the litigation landscape in the U.S. and globally and what the trends are when it comes to climate litigation, and how law firms have handled the influx of volume in cases.
