Karl-Christoph von Steuben
OVERVIEW
Karl-Christoph von Steuben is a Counsel at Hausfeld in Berlin. His particular expertise lies in complex civil and competition litigation.
He specializes in large-scale plaintiff litigation, including both cartel claims and digital antitrust matters. Karl-Christoph represents major individual claimants and litigates in collective enforcement proceedings. He has played a key role in the Truck Cartel litigation and in high-profile proceedings against major technology companies in abuse of dominance cases. His experience spans all phases of litigation, from early case assessment to trial and settlement negotiations.
Having studied at Humboldt-University School of Law in Berlin and Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland (Ohio), Karl-Christoph holds an LL.M. in business law.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Karl-Christoph worked several years in the dispute resolution group of Raue LLP in Berlin. Before his admission to the bar, Karl-Christoph gained extensive experience in German and U.S. governmental affairs, including work for high-ranking officials in various governmental institutions, amongst others the U.S. Department of Defense.
