Sarah R. LaFreniere and Luke Grimes are Hausfeld’s Competition Bulletin new Managing and Assistant Managing Editor
Hausfeld is pleased to announce that U.S. Partner Sarah R. LaFreniere is the new Managing Editor of the firm’s publication, Competition Bulletin. Joining her is Luke Grimes, Senior Associate in the U.K., who will serve as the Assistant Managing Editor. Sarah and Luke take over the editorial responsibilities from longtime Editor Irving Scher, who retired from the role in June.
Hausfeld’s Competition Bulletin is the only Plaintiff’s-side publication dedicated to insights into noteworthy antitrust investigations, judgments, regulatory decisions, competition law, and digital markets developments in the United States, the UK, and Europe. The Competition Bulletin is widely recognized as market-leading by peers, clients, and the judiciary and the articles published are regularly shortlisted for and/or win antitrust/competition writing awards. In 2017, the Competition Bulletin was selected as the top Private Enforcement Antitrust Newsletter from among thirty other leading antitrust firm submissions by Concurrences. Under Irving Scher’s editorship, the Competition Bulletin grew in stature and scope to also include cutting-edge digital markets thought leadership, and we thank him for his significant contribution in cementing the Competition Bulletin’s reputation.
In addition to the new editors, Hausfeld has also instituted a cross-jurisdictional Competition Bulletin Editorial Board. Members of the Editorial Board include Michael Hausfeld, Chair Emeritus in Washington, D.C.; Scott Martin, Co-Chair of the U.S. Antitrust Practice Group in New York; Nicola Boyle, Competition Partner in London; Scott Campbell, Head of the UK Competition Disputes Team in London; Thomas Höppner, Competition Lawyer and Partner in Berlin; and Sander Timmerman, Competition Partner in Amsterdam.
