Data Protection Conference 2026
On Thursday 5th February, Hausfeld Partner, Luke Streatfeild will join an expert panel on “Data in Digital Markets: Navigating the Intersection Between Data Protection and Competition Law” at the Data Protection Conference organised by the Society for Computers & Law.
This annual event will bring together leading experts of the data protection, competition and privacy law as well as compliance community. The agenda will cover emerging issues, best practices, and recent legal developments.
Luke will be joined by Tim Pitt-Payne KC of 11KBW, Tim Capel, Interim Executive Director, Regulatory Supervision, Ico and Aislinn Kelly-Lyth of Blackstone Chambers. They will discuss the expanding overlap between data protection and competition law, the rise of regulatory collaboration and the real-world impact on organisations operating in digital markets.
