Who’s Who Legal recognizes Michael Hausfeld as Competition Plaintiff Lawyer of the Year and Hausfeld named Competition Plaintiff Firm of the Year

Last night at the 5th Annual Who’s Who Legal (WWL) awards, Michael Hausfeld, Chairman of Hausfeld, won the Competition Plaintiff Lawyer of the Year award. 

Michael was also named as a Competition Thought Leader by WWL, alongside Hausfeld London Managing Partner, Anthony Maton.  WWL Thought Leaders are those “worthy of special mention owing not only to their vast expertise and experience advising on some of the world’s most significant and cutting-edge legal matters, but also their ability to innovate, inspire, and go above and beyond to deliver for their clients.”

Alongside his award, the firm was named Competition Plaintiff Firm of the Year Award. 

The WWL competition awards areresearched in conjunction with Global Competition Review (GCR).  GCR has previously described the firm as “one of – if not the – top Plaintiffs' antitrust firm in the U.S."  Furthermore, in the GCR 2018 global rankings, it named Hausfeld as the sole ‘Elite’ firm in its EU Claimants Bar category, adding, ““Hausfeld’s dedication and innovation place it on the cutting edge of damages litigation in Europe”.

Nominees for the awards are selected based upon comprehensive, independent survey work with both general counsel and private practice lawyers worldwide. Only specialists that have met independent international research criteria are listed.
