Hausfeld welcomes leading antitrust and consumer protection litigator Daniel J. Walker as partner

WASHINGTON, D.C. [Tuesday, June 2, 2026] – Hausfeld is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Walker has joined the firm as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office. Dan is a leading antitrust and consumer protection litigator with experience at the Federal Trade Commission’s Health Care Division and in private practice. His arrival further strengthens Hausfeld’s nationally recognized plaintiff-side Antitrust and Competition practice in the United States.

Dan represents consumers, workers, and others in complex litigation against some of the largest companies in the world. Drawing on his experience in private practice and at the FTC’s Health Care Division, he has helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of claimants in cases challenging harmful conduct across many sectors, including health care, pharmaceuticals, technology, and agriculture. 

In his prior roles at a leading plaintiffs’ firm, Dan played key roles in major complex actions involving alleged price-fixing, monopolization, and other exclusionary conduct, including In re Broiler Chicken Grower Antitrust LitigationIn re Loestrin 24 Fe Antitrust LitigationIn re Titanium Dioxide Antitrust Litigation, and In re High Tech Employee Antitrust Litigation, among others. Dan also played a key role in significant pharmaceutical matters for the FTC, including Federal Trade Commission v. AbbVie Inc. and Federal Trade Commission v. Cephalon Inc., in which the FTC obtained $1.2 billion in monetary relief.
