OVERVIEW

Rebecca joined Hausfeld in Summer 2021 to undertake the new role of Head of Knowledge Management, working closely with the Knowledge Management and Learning & Development Committees as well as Practice Heads to capture and share the firm’s know how resources, further enhancing the firm’s offering to clients. She leads our learning and development programme and also drives thought leadership on key legal developments.

Expertise

Rebecca has extensive expertise in leading both internal and external knowledge management projects, one of which was highly commended at the Legal Week Innovation Awards 2018.

Having practiced as a lawyer in global law firms Norton Rose Fulbright (then Norton Rose) and HFW and having continued her career as a professional support lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, she possesses extensive disputes experience. For example, Rebecca has acted on high value arbitration matters, including DIFC, LCIA and ICC arbitrations, one of which became a leading Supreme Court case on contractual interpretation.

In addition to her knowledge management and legal experience, Rebecca is an experienced trainer, having previously led a number of disputes training programmes, most recently at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Working towards a diverse, equitable and inclusive work force is paramount to Rebecca who is an active member of Hausfeld's Social Inclusion group.
