OVERVIEW

Carlynne is an Associate based in Hausfeld’s Philadelphia office with a practice focus in cybersecurity, data privacy, and antitrust litigation. Throughout her career, Carlynne has gained substantial experience litigating complex civil matters, including through appeal and to trial, in both state and federal courts across the country.

Carlynne earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she served as a student attorney in the Health Law Clinic representing indigent clients appealing denials of social security disability benefits. During her time at Villanova, Carlynne also gained significant experience interning with the Honorable Michael Baylson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Department of Justice’s Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Carlynne began her legal career at a Philadelphia-based class action law firm specializing in large-scale consumer protection, ERISA, and securities litigation, until she joined a boutique data privacy law firm based in Los Angeles, where she managed all aspects of complex litigation through case inception, discovery, class certification, and settlement. Before joining Hausfeld, Carlynne worked as an associate at a multinational defense firm, where she represented both public and private clients in complex financial fraud matters. During this time, Carlynne also prioritized significant pro bono work, including assisting Syrian refugees to apply for and obtain permanent resident status, aiding veterans to appeal decisions denying social security benefits, and participating in a youth criminal record sealing program.
