Anjali Dhillon
OVERVIEW
Anjali is an associate in Hausfeld’s New York office. Her practice focuses on antitrust, consumer protection, civil liberties, and human rights litigation. Drawing on experience across civil liberties, labor organizing, and immigration advocacy, she approaches each matter with a deep understanding of the systemic issues underlying her clients’ cases.
Before joining Hausfeld, Anjali served as a Summer Associate with the firm, where she supported teams on complex litigation matters across antitrust, human rights, and consumer protection matters. Her work included drafting legal memoranda, supporting class certification proceedings, contributing to complaint filing, and developing a survey of state consumer protection statutes to assess potential claims.
Anjali also contributed to high-impact litigation and policy initiatives at public-interest organizations, As an Arthur Garfield Hays Fellow at the American Civil Liberties Union’s Speech, Privacy & Technology Project, where she focused on issues related to the First Amendment and drafted an amicus brief on speech and associational protection for human rights watchdog organizations. She also held positions at the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Law Unit and the New Economy Project. While in law school, she was a Leonard Boundin Fellow in First Amendment Law in the Arthur Garfield Hays Program and a Peggy Browning Fellow. She was also awarded the Vanderbilt Medal for her outstanding contributions to New York University School of Law.
