Michael Zymler
OVERVIEW
Michael focuses his practice on EU and UK competition law.
Expertise
Michael offers experience in a wide range of matters involving abuse of dominance and cartel investigations before the Competition and Markets Authority, the Competition Appeal Tribunal, the European Commission, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. He has acted in relation to mergers and acquisitions and has advised clients on public interest mergers. He also provides advice in the application of competition law to a wide range of commercial agreements and practices.
Michael joined Hausfeld from Morgan Lewis & Bockius UK LLP, where he was an associate in the competition team. Previously, he was a trainee at Latham & Watkins LLP in Brussels. He was also a visiting lecturer in Copyrights and Trademarks at King’s College London and a stagiaire at the Office of the Hearing Officer for Competition Proceedings at the European Commission.
Michael speaks fluent Dutch.
