Four Hausfeld articles make Antitrust Writing Awards 2020 shortlist
Hausfeld articles authored by our antitrust lawyers across our US, UK and German offices have again been shortlisted for the Concurrences 2020 Antitrust Writing Awards.
These awards, which promote practical antitrust skills, recognise the best articles published in professional publications in 2019, with a total of 150 articles selected. Alongside the Board, The Business Steering Committee shortlist 20 articles electing the 10 winners. Following this, readers can vote for their favourite. The awards ceremony takes place in April in Washington DC.
The four Hausfeld articles selected were originally published in Hausfeld’s Competition Bulletin in 2019 and Law360. The nominations are a testament to the unequivocal quality of the Bulletin - expertly edited by antitrust icon Irving Scher - and the excellent contributions of its authors on topics which are at the forefront of legal developments in antitrust.
We have been recognised in two categories:
Unilateral Conduct:
Data Exploitation as an Abuse of Dominance: The German Facebook Decision by Thomas Höppner (Hausfeld Germany).
The German Amazon Marketplace Agreement Case: A Landmark Settlement with Global Reach or More Hype Than Substance by Philipp Westerhoff (Hausfeld Germany).
