Hausfeld at the 2025 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition – Spanish National Rounds

The Philip C. Jessup International Law Court Competition is an international law competition attracting each year over 700 law schools in 100 countries and jurisdictions. The Spanish national rounds of this prestigious competition took place from 18th to 20th February at the Cuatrecasas office in Madrid, where law students showcased their advocacy skills before a distinguished panel of judges.

David Lawne, Ingrid Gubbay and Ana Isabel Fernández Alonso were part of the judging panel along external professionals in international law, academics and university lecturers, former participants and officials of international bodies.

Reflecting on the competition, Associate Ana Isabel Fernández Alonso mentioned: “We saw a high level in this edition and great preparation by the students. It was very interesting for the panel to listen to their arguments and witness the preparation they put into it.”

The winning teams from each country will compete for first place in the international rounds, taking place from 29th March to 5th April in Washington D.C.
