The Lawyer sets out: “Hausfeld partner Ned Beale is one of the driving forces behind the impressive growth of the dispute boutique’s London office in recent years, which has been powered particularly by the firm’s success in pro-consumer cases and premium commercial disputes.”
Ned Beale is becoming “a fixture in The Lawyer’s annual Top 20 Cases report".
The Lawyer, Hot 100 2025
In just four years, Ned has become one of the driving forces behind the firm’s burgeoning commercial disputes resolution practice. He is at the helm of groundbreaking cases, including acting for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fair Banking in two Supreme Court Interventions and is currently leading their high-profile judicial review APPG on Fair Banking v Financial Conduct Authority in relation to the IRHP redress scheme, one of The Lawyer’s ‘Top 20 Cases’ of 2024.
Ned’s practice extends into premium commercial disputes with prominent cases such as Qatar Airways v Airbus - one of The Lawyer’s ‘Top 20 Cases’ of 2023 - and the Non-Russian Operator Policy Claims, pursuing insurance claims of $110m for aircraft lost during the Russian invasion and recently settling an £80m LCIA arbitration concerning an infrastructure joint venture.
Ned was elevated to Co-Head of the Commercial Disputes together with Lucy Pert in June 2024. Beyond his casework, he has been invited by a group of MPs to speak on banking issues alongside a Minister and Shadow Minister, and appointed member of the ICC UK National Committee and The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation Mediation Committee.
Congratulations to Ned for this well-deserved recognition and all the other individuals featured.
