Juve continues to recognise Hausfeld in 2022 rankings

Juve has ranked Hausfeld in Germany for both Competition Law and Dispute Resolution in its prestigious 2022 market analysis. For the fifth consecutive year, Hausfeld is recognised as a leading firm for competition law in this year’s rankings and has been awarded with the ‘Competition Law Firm of the Year Award’.

Juve points out that ‘Hausfeld shapes the competition law landscape like few other law firms’ and that ‘Hausfeld stands out as a pioneer in future topics such as market dominance in the digital economy. In that regard, Juve emphasises the ‘pioneering work for Immowelt as Hausfeld obtained the first judgments on the basis of the new stricter laws for digitalmarkets’ and that the firm ‘also leads the most relevant cases on the important question of the admissibility of assignment models for damages claims and has recently succeeded before several courts.’

In the Dispute Resolution category, Juve emphasises that ‘the firm is in the spotlight with several of its disputes because they involve fundamental legal issues.’ Furthermore, ‘in addition to these antitrust disputes, Hausfeld is increasingly expanding its spectrum to include capital markets disputes, particularly in Berlin’.

Germany managing partner Alex Petrasincu is listed amongst the top German competition lawyers under 50 and has been described by clients as pragmatic and experienced in litigation’, ‘well connected and informed about significant developments such as personnel changes at courts’. Partner Thomas Höppner is commended as being ‘perfectly positioned as challenger’ and ‘standing out’ through ‘various complainants against Amazon and Google’. Deputy Managing Partner Ann-Christin Richter has been praised by clients for being ‘well-founded in both antitrust and litigation issues’ and ‘very good advice on strategic approach’
