GCR Live Competition Litigation 2021
Global Competition Review hosted its annual Competition Litigation conference on September 30, 2021, jointly chaired by Hausfeld London Managing Partner Anthony Maton and Nicholas Heaton of Hogan Lovells.
This virtual and in-person event brought together government enforcers, economists, private practice lawyers, leading litigation funders and expert panellists, who shared their views on the development of the collective action regime, including the opportunities and practical challenges that these complex cases bring. The conference also examined the rise of claims against tech companies, such as Apple, Google and Qualcomm. Are there more claims like this on the horizon?
Hausfeld Berlin Partner Ann-Christin Richter joined an afternoon panel ‘The precedential value of Trucks’ to sharing lessons learned from the legal aspects of this high-profile claim that Hausfeld is advising on in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, and how this case could shape the law.
