BIICL Roundtable - London
The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) expect companies to carry out a human rights due diligence (HRDD) process "to identify, prevent, mitigate and account for how they address their impacts on human rights".
As part of BIICL’s Legal Practice Roundtable Series, Ingrid Gubbay joins experts from Hogan Lovells on 4th October, to discuss how HRDD can be applied as a legal standard and defence. They will examine actual or proposed legal measures which utilise the concept of HRDD, and consider how the concept of HRDD as described by the UNGPs may be applied in legal claims.
