Jantina Hiemstra joins Thomas van Zijl in the business news show Zakendoen of Dutch radio station BNR Nieuwsradio. They discuss collective redress in the Netherlands, in particular in relation to personal injury. Jantina touches upon the recent introduction of the law on representative actions in the Netherlands (the “WAMCA”), the improvement of the level playing field, the steps that need to be taken to build and shape a mass claim, and personal injury caused by defective products.
