Hausfeld achieves Mansfield Certification Plus status

Hausfeld is proud to announce that it has achieved Mansfield Rule Certification Plus in Diversity Lab’s inaugural Midsize Certification cohort.  

Designed to expand on the early successes of the original Mansfield Rule piloted in 2017 with larger firms, the overall goal of the Midsize Mansfield Rule is to increase diversity in leadership pipelines within midsize law firms by broadening the pool of women lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, lawyers with disabilities, and/or lawyers from underrepresented racial or ethnic backgrounds who are considered for entry-level and lateral attorney job openings, firm governance opportunities, equity partner promotions, and opportunities to connect with clients.

To achieve Midsize Mansfield Certification, we collaborated with Diversity Lab on an 18-month pilot certification process with built-in measurement, transparency, and accountability. As one of the 16 Certified Midsize Mansfield firms that achieved Certification “Plus” status, this indicates that, in addition to meeting or exceeding the consideration requirements, we successfully achieved 30% or more diverse representation in current leadership roles, formal client pitches, and staffing on key matters.

Hausfeld is also participating in the 2022-2023 Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification Program.
