UK Competition Litigation Conference
Monckton Chambers, Nera Consulting and Augusta Ventures collaborated for the third year to host their annual Competition Litigation Conference between 7 and 9 December. The three day event brought together global competition experts to participate in virtual roundtable sessions and discuss pivotal cases and developments in the competition sphere, sharing predictions for 2022.
Partner Lesley Hannah joined the panel on day two ‘Competition Litigation involving Big Tech’ to discuss developments in tech disputes, a hot topic in light of digital giants facing litigation across Europe and worldwide. Lesley is leading several ground-breaking competition tech claims at Hausfeld, including damages claims against Google in relation to the Google Shopping decision, and collective actions against Google and Apple for excessive and unlawful charges in their respective app stores, and is well placed to share her wealth of knowledge and experience in this area.
The panel, which featured lively debates across a range of issues, was chaired by Meredith Pickford QC from Monckton Chambers with additional speakers Ronit Kreisberger QC from Monckton Chambers; Dr Nicola Tosini from NERA Economic Consulting and Steven Vaz from Ashurst.
