IBRAC Antitrust Damages Actions Course
Between 16th August and 22nd September, the Brazilian Institute of Competition, Consumption and International Trade Studies (IBRAC) will run a course on antitrust damages actions. Over the course of these dates, several expert panels will share their wealth of knowledge on competition disputes including class actions, civil actions, economic aspects, arbitrage and mediation as venues to secure antitrust damages and other important topics related to negligence.
Joining one of these panels is London Partner Andrew Bullion, who will together with David Scott - Partner at Scott and Scott - discuss topics related to ARDCs and important international cases on the final day:
- Cases with conflict of jurisdiction
- Agreements entered by international economic groups and local effects
- Distribution of intra-jurisdiction effects
- Other important and polemic topics
The conference, held in Brazil, will be in Portuguese – save for Andrew’s panel – and conclude with a networking event. Attendees can join virtually.
