Adel focuses his practice on complex antitrust litigation. Prior to joining Hausfeld, Adel worked on a large-scale pharmaceutical trademark infringement case and was a judicial fellow to the Honorable Marlene F. Lachman of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
While in law school and after graduation, Adel has demonstrated a commitment to pro bono work by participating in different projects/events, some of those include:
- Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity (PLSE). PLSE provides free legal advice and representation to low-income Philadelphians whose criminal records are holding them back from achieving their social and career potentials.
- Pennsylvania Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), an organization that provides legal resettlement, citizenship, and supportive services to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers from all backgrounds in order to ensure their fair treatment and full integration into American society.
- Life Planning for Philadelphia Seniors, where Adel assisted low-income Philadelphia seniors in preparing documents such as wills and powers of attorney.
Adel has represented individual consumers, small and large businesses, and institutional investors in antitrust matters.
