An Australian qualified lawyer, Jared joined Hausfeld in March 2023 with substantive experience as a commercial litigator at Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF) and TLT in London, and as a litigator in the competition department of Allens Arthur Robinson in Sydney. In 2000, he was Associate to the Hon. Justice A.P. Whitlam at the Federal Court of Australia.
Jared offers expertise in the full range of litigation-related tasks, including interviewing witnesses, assisting in drafting statements of case and witness statements, and carrying out secondary and tertiary document review as part of large disclosure exercises. As a member of the banking litigation team at HSF, he had day-to-day involvement in a wide range of banking and financial services regulatory matters with a particular focus on cases concerning complex financial instruments.

At Hausfeld, Jared is part of the legal team representing Foundem in an abuse of dominance claim against Google linked to the EC's infringement finding in relation to Google Shopping.
Previously, Jared acted for Australian retailer Liquorland in proceedings brought by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission against it relating to alleged anticompetitive conduct in the NSW liquor market.
