Dr. Martin Jäger is Counsel at Hausfeld in Düsseldorf. He advises on all aspects of German and European antitrust law with a focus on antitrust litigation and merger control. Furthermore, he has many years of diverse experience in distribution antitrust law, in particular at the interface with intellectual property law and in antitrust damages proceedings, as well as in advising clients from the healthcare industry.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Martin was Senior Counsel at a leading German law firm in Düsseldorf and previously worked in another law firm in Frankfurt am Main, Düsseldorf, Brussels and London. Having studied in Heidelberg and Geneva, Martin holds a Ph.D. He is the author of the bi-monthly media antitrust law column for the “Archiv für Presserecht” (AfP).
Martin Jäger is fluent in German, English and has good knowledge of French.
