Before Hausfeld, Emelyne was part of the legal teams:

• Representing 100+ public authorities and a group of multinationals pursuing claims against members of the Trucks Cartel.
• Representing a large international independent ATM deployer in a standalone competition claim against Visa and Mastercard.

At Hausfeld, she is part of the legal teams:

• Bringing claims before the Amsterdam District Court for European truck purchasers allegedly harmed by the prominent Trucks cartel, representing over 3,000 clients across Europe.
• Filing a representative collective action with the CAT on behalf of the Consumers’ Association (known as Which?) against Qualcomm on behalf of a class of around 29 million UK consumers alleging that Qualcomm abuses its dominance in the markets for smartphone chipsets and standard essential patents, the result of which is that Qualcomm is able to overcharge smartphone manufacturers like Apple and Samsung for its technology. Damages are estimated to be over £480 million.

Prior to joining Hausfeld, Emelyne was part of the legal teams:

• Representing financial institutions in connection with a high-profile commercial arbitration under the ICC arbitration rules.
• Advising infrastructure and mining companies in connection with the protection of investments in African states.
• Advising on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy and guiding clients towards sustainable and responsible business practices.
• Representing a group of dealers and collectors in judicial review proceedings challenging the ban imposed by the Ivory Act 2018.
