Daniel also maintains a pro-bono practice, having represented several NGOs in public interest interventions at the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
This will bring Hausfeld’s European competition disputes resolution team to 12 partners and 44 qualified lawyers, further supported by a team of paralegals and business professionals.
Commenting on the announcement, Scott Campbell, Head of Competition Disputes at Hausfeld in London:

We have the largest dedicated claimant Competition Disputes team in Europe and our leading expertise and experience in this field is widely recognised and unparalleled. We expect our workload to continue its growth trajectory through follow-on and stand-alone actions for damages brought by our corporate clients alongside our thriving collective actions practice before the CAT here in England as well as in other major EU jurisdictions. We very much look forward to welcoming Daniel on-board."
Daniel Hunt says:
“I am excited to join Hausfeld at a time when there is such momentum behind competition disputes in the UK and across the EU. Hausfeld is the leading competition litigation claimant firm and a pioneer in collective redress. Hausfeld will continue to lead the way in follow-on and stand-alone competition damages actions and I could not pass up the opportunity to contribute to such a talented and dedicated team.”
