HarrisMartin’s MDL Conference: Video Game Addiction and the Latest Mass Tort Updates

On May 29, Hausfeld of Counsel Steve Rotman will be a speaker at HarrisMartin’s MDL Conference: Video Game Addiction and the Latest Mass Tort Updates.

Steve will join the “Video Game Addiction Litigation” panel alongside Richard D. Meadow of The Lanier Law Firm, Breean “B.W.” Walas of Bullock Ward Mason, Joshua Harris of Gomez Trial Attorneys, Tina Bullock or Bullock Ward Mason, and Seth A. Katz of Burg Kimpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine.

Steve’s panel will discuss the effects of video games on children and how the legal industry can take part in mitigating the damages caused by video games. There is substantial evidence that video game play has caused over 2 million children in the US to be addicted, with video game addiction being comparable to an addiction to alcohol, nicotine, and gambling.
