Mel is a staff attorney in Hausfeld’s New York office specializing in class actions, complex litigation, and antitrust enforcement.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Mel worked at a Manhattan law firm representing primarily real estate and construction companies in commercial litigation. She has experience drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and making court appearances in New York Supreme Court.
During law school, Mel was Chief Managing Editor of the UCLA Women’s Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Honors Executive Board. She also provided free legal counsel to independent documentary filmmakers in Los Angeles through the UCLA Documentary Film Legal Clinic, and remains committed to pro bono service.
