Uchechi’s practice focuses on antitrust and consumer protection litigation. She also has experience in deceptive business practices, immigration law, international law, and human rights law.
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Uchechi was a staff attorney at the Department of Justice, Consumer Protection Branch, and worked collaboratively in all phases of both civil and criminal cases. Additionally, as a former eDiscovery attorney, Uchechi reviewed documents in complex litigation cases, including but not limited to antitrust, mass torts, class actions, mergers and acquisitions, and pharmaceutical investigations. While in law school, Uchechi interned at the Greater Boston Legal Services, Immigration and Asylum unit, preparing asylum seekers to testify at asylum interviews and in Immigration court. Uchechi has also volunteered as a pro bono volunteer attorney at the DC Volunteers Lawyer Project, providing legal assistance to domestic violence victims. Her previous experience also includes analyzing and researching complex legal matters in international law, regulations, and public health law.
