Experience

Competition/Antitrust

At Hausfeld, Julia is part of the legal team working on:

  • Filing a representative collective action with the CAT on behalf of the UK Consumers’ Association (known as Which?) against Qualcomm on behalf of a class of around 29 million UK consumers alleging that Qualcomm abused its dominance in the markets for smartphone chipsets and standard essential patents. This included representing Which? at trial and through its settlement with Qualcomm, and the parties’ application for a Collective Settlement Approval Order before the Competition Appeal Tribunal. The Settlement was approved, subject to certain amendments, at a hearing which took place on 18 May 2026.
