Ana Isabel joined Hausfeld as an Associate in August 2024 from Cuatrecasas in Spain, where she qualified as an associate. During that time, she gained experience in the private litigation department, international arbitration and human rights.
She advised multinational companies on compliance and represented national and international clients in significant cases related to antitrust issues, product liability claims, and health care system failures.
Ana Isabel is a native Spanish speaker and speaks conversational French and Portuguese.

Experience
Competition/Antitrust
At Hausfeld, she is part of the legal team:
- Working on cross-border group action involving European consumers.
- Acting in collaboration with Spanish firm Eskariam in representing thousands of Spanish dairy farmers in a case arising out of Spanish regulatory (CNMC) findings in respect of the Spanish milk cartel, which in October 2025 resulted in a landmark first-instance ruling by the Madrid Commercial Court No. 14 recognising liability for damages and awarding compensation to affected farmers, followed by three judgments by the Granada Commercial Court No. 1 in December 2025 and January 2026, and a second instance judgment by the Barcelona Provincial Court No. 15 in February 2026, all of which also awarded damages.
Arbitration & International Arbitration
Prior to joining Hausfeld, Ana Isabel was part of the legal teams which:
- Advised multinational companies on compliance with the UN Guiding Principles and EU regulations regarding corporate sustainability due diligence.
- Represented both national and international clients in various legal matters, including significant cases related to health care system failures, antitrust issues, and product liability claims.
- Appeared before the Spanish courts as both a claimant and defense attorney; prepared and delivered opening and closing statements and conducted direct and cross examination during hearings.
