Expertise
Sally is a dual qualified lawyer in both the UK and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Hausfeld, she worked as part of the Disputes Resolution teams at Clyde & Co in Hong Kong.
She has experience in resolving a variety of complex and multi-jurisdictional disputes involving issues about general contractual and tort disputes, competition, insolvency, insurance, employment, cyber and data breaches, trust, and more. The clients she has assisted ranged from high-net-worth individuals, MNCs to SMEs across industries, including professional and financial services, manufacturing and trading, technology, and insurance.
Sally is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Commercial & Financial Disputes
Before Hausfeld, Sally was part of the legal teams:
- Assisting an international financial derivatives institution in proceedings in the UK, the BVI, and Germany on disputes over investments in a joint venture project
- Assisting a leading metals and minerals trading company in its claim against a guarantor upon default of settlement payments under a deed of settlement, and assisting in an ancillary enforcement of mortgage executed as security for the deed of settlement
- Assisting major international insurers on claims and coverage issues under D&O and other policies
- Assisting beneficial owners of shares in a listed company under a family trust arrangement on breach of trust and asset misappropriation disputes
- Assisting in resolving shareholder and boardroom disputes
- Acting for companies in initiating/defending debt-recovery claims from local and overseas financiers and trading parties
Insolvency & Restructuring
Before Hausfeld, Sally was part of the legal teams:
- Acting for the liquidators/provisional liquidators of a formerly listed construction company (and its group companies) and assisted in various insolvency related proceedings in multiple jurisdictions
- Acting for the joint official liquidators of an investment fund in various investigations into the fund’s transactions and affairs
- Acting for various companies in the PRC and Hong Kong in opposing winding-up petitions filed by overseas and local creditors
Technology & Data breach
Before Hausfeld, Sally was part of the legal teams:
- Assisting clients in pursuing/defending recovery actions relating to cyber frauds, obtaining Mareva and proprietary injunctions to preserve misappropriated fund following internet hacks and scams
- Assisting companies worldwide experiencing data breaches with incident responses
Antitrust / Competition

- Representing leading automotive manufacturers on recovering follow-on damages as the result of the following cartels: Alternators & Starters, Thermal Systems, Occupant Safety Systems and other Auto-Part cartels
