Mindee J. Reuben is a partner in Hausfeld's Philadelphia office, where she specializes in representing plaintiffs in complex antitrust and consumer class action matters across the United States. She frequently serves as lead, co-lead, and liaison counsel in high-profile, multi-jurisdictional litigation, with a track record of successful settlements and strategic case management. Recognized by Super Lawyers and Philadelphia Magazine as one of Pennsylvania's top lawyers, Mindee has been repeatedly named by Super Lawyers to their Top 50 Women in Pennsylvania, Top 100 in Pennsylvania, and Top 100 in Philadelphia lists. Cencora, Inc., et al. (data breach case); and In re Wawa, Inc. Data Security Litig.  (data breach case).  

Mindee has held leadership or other significant roles in numerous federal antitrust matters including, In re Processed Egg Products Antitrust Litigation (Co-Lead and Liaison Counsel, $130 million settlement); In re Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation (Subscriber Track) (Trial Plan Committee, $2.67 billion settlement); In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation (Direct Purchaser Class) (Deposition and Trial Team, $284 million settlement); and In re Polyurethane Foam Antitrust Litigation (Executive Committee, $147 million settlement).

Other antitrust cases of note in which Mindee previously had significant involvement include, In re Pork Antitrust Litig. (Direct Purchaser Class); In re: Hard Disk Drive Suspension Assemblies Antitrust Litig. (Reseller Class); In re: Fragrance Indirect Purchaser Antitrust Litig. (Producer Indirect Class).

Mindee has also served as class counsel on federal and state law matters such as in the consumer actions of Fritzinger v. Angie’s List and as co-lead counsel in Stone v. Stewart Title Guaranty Co., both of which resulted in highly favorable settlements for the class.

Antitrust/Competition

  • In Re: RealPage, Inc., Rental Software Antitrust Litigation – Hausfeld serves as co-lead counsel in the federal antitrust class action against RealPage, Inc. and several of their property management clients, alleging that the Defendants, some of the largest owners and managers of rental real estate in the United States, conspired to use RealPage’s so-called “revenue management” service to set rental prices and restrict the supply of available rental units in major metropolitan areas across the United States.
  • In re: Concrete and Cement Additives Antitrust Litigation – Representing a class of direct purchasers of concrete and cement admixtures in a price fixing conspiracy MDL between the world’s largest manufacturers of concrete, cement, and mortar admixtures.
  • In re Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing Antitrust Litigation – Representing end-payer plaintiffs against some of the largest generic pharmaceutical companies in the world for their industry-wide coordination to inflate prices, divvy up the markets, and block competition.
  • Prior to joining Hausfeld, Mindee represented clients in the following notable actions:
    • In re Processed Egg Products Antitrust Litigation - Represented egg purchasers alleging egg producers and distributors entered into an unlawful agreement to restrict egg supplies, resulting in a $130 million settlement (Co-Lead and Liaison Counsel).
    • In re Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation (Subscriber Track) - Represented subscribers alleging dozens of Blue Cross Blue Shield entities entered into an unlawful agreement not to compete, resulting in a $2.67 billion settlement (Trial Plan Committee).
    • In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation (Direct Purchaser Class) - Represented a certified class of broiler chicken farmers claim that over twenty of the country’s largest poultry producers, including Tyson, Pilgrim’s, Perdue, Koch Foods, and Sanderson Farms colluded to suppress Grower pay through agreements not to recruit, solicit, or “poach” one another’s Growers and through comprehensive and systematic exchanges of Grower compensation information, resulting in a $284 million settlement (Deposition and Trial Team).
    • In re Polyurethane Foam Antitrust Litigation (Direct Purchaser Class) – Represented a certified class of direct purchasers of polyurethane foam against eleven defendant manufacturers which resulted in a $147 million settlement (Executive Committee).

Technology & Data Breach

  • Juan Anaya et al. v. Cencora, Inc., et al. – Representing a class of a class of plaintiffs whose private information was stolen from Cencora and other drug companies during a data breach.
  • In re Wawa, Inc. Data Security Litigation– Representing a proposed class of financial institutions alleging the convenience-store chain’s negligence resulted in a massive data breach, compromising more than 30 million payment cards used at up to 850 store locations on the East Coast.
