OVERVIEW

Vashali’s work focuses on complex commercial and antitrust litigation. Her prior work experience involved various commercial and civil matters, including  hospitality, construction and real property litigation.

While in law school, Vashali was a member of the Trial Court Board and Hispanic Law Students Association. During law school Vashali became a certified intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office and a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Urbina in the D.C. Federal District Court.

Antitrust/Competition

  • In re Libor-Based Financial Instruments Antitrust Litigation – Currently on the case team of this class action lawsuit alleging a global conspiracy by some of the world’s largest financial institutions to manipulate LIBOR. 
  • In re Broiler Chicken Grower Antitrust Litigation – Represents a certified class of broiler chicken farmers (referred to as “Growers”) claim that over twenty of the country’s largest poultry producers, including Tyson, Pilgrim’s, Perdue, Koch Foods, and Sanderson Farms colluded to suppress Grower pay through agreements not to recruit, solicit, or “poach” one another’s Growers and through comprehensive and systematic exchanges of Grower compensation information. Settlements have been reached with Tyson ($21 million), Perdue ($14.75 million), Koch Foods ($15.5 million), Sanderson Farms ($17.75 million), and Pilgrim's Pride totaling $169 million.
