Dr. Alex Petrasincu is a partner and serves as Head of Competition and Litigation at Hausfeld in Germany. Until the end of 2024, he was also Managing Partner of Hausfeld in Germany.
He advises on all aspects of European and German antitrust law, with a particular focus on antitrust litigation and data protection law.
Alex Petrasincu has represented numerous companies in antitrust and data protection damages proceedings, as well as in interim relief proceedings to enforce injunctive relief against antitrust violations. He has represented and advised parties before numerous German regional courts, Courts of Appeal, the Federal Administrative Court, the Federal Constitutional Court, and the European Court of Justice. He has also represented companies in antitrust investigations by the European Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office, and other European antitrust authorities.

After completing his legal clerkship, he also obtained an LL.M. from Columbia Law School in New York. He regularly lectures and publishes articles on German and European antitrust law.
